About
I am a software engineer who enjoys building reliable systems, keeping them secure, and shipping practical tools that people actually use. My background blends electrical engineering fundamentals with focused studies in computer and media security, which still influences how I approach architecture, hardening, and long-term maintainability.
Enterprise & Infrastructure
In my professional work, I focus on SAP/ABAP development and the surrounding enterprise ecosystem. I also work in Java and build containerized workflows, so I am comfortable moving between business logic, integrations, and the platform layer.
Outside of work, I run a small home lab to stay close to real-world operations. It keeps my Linux and network skills sharp and gives me hands-on experience with virtualization, storage, and container orchestration.
I enjoy documenting my findings and hands-on tests with new systems and setups here on the blog, so others can benefit from the lessons learned.
Open Source & Side Projects
Since 2012, I have been the primary developer of tinyMediaManager, a cross-platform media management application. The project spans the full stack: a Java core, a Go-based launcher, packaging across operating systems, and build and release automation.
I also contribute to several open-source projects and build Discord bots in Go, which is a fun playground for clean APIs and reliable concurrency.
